Airtel is hiring Network Engineers to manage and optimize their telecom infrastructure across India.
As a Network Engineer at Airtel in Gurgaon, you will play a key role in managing and expanding one of India's largest telecommunications networks. This full-time position involves hands-on work with core and access network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for millions of subscribers across voice, data, and enterprise connectivity services.
You will be responsible for network planning, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization, working with both legacy and next-generation technologies including 4G LTE and 5G NR. The role requires collaboration with field teams, equipment vendors, and NOC operations. Requirements
- 2-4 years networking experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification
- Knowledge of 4G/5G technologies
- Hands-on experience with router and switch configuration (Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei equipment)
- Understanding of network security principles including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for network incident response
Responsibilities
- Network planning and optimization

- Maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP address management, and change logs
- Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansions with minimal service disruption
