Mahindra Group is seeking an HR Manager to lead talent acquisition and employee engagement for their automotive division.

As an HR Manager at Mahindra Group in Mumbai, you will lead the human resources function for the automotive division, overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. This full-time role requires a strategic partner who can align HR initiatives with business objectives while maintaining a people-first approach.

You will manage a team of HR business partners and recruiters, drive workforce planning, and implement programs that enhance employee retention and productivity. Requirements

  • 5-8 years HR experience
  • MBA in HR required
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment lifecycle management for technical and non-technical roles
  • Knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity), and HR audit processes
  • Proficiency in HRMS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Darwinbox
  • Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and employee counseling capabilities
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in HR Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations is essential for success in this role Familiarity with would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual appraisal cycle including goal setting, reviews, and calibration sessions
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and recommend retention strategies
  • Partner with leadership to drive diversity and inclusion initiatives across the division
Contribute to a positive team culture through mentorship and knowledge transfer Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements to existing processes Analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing
